Glaskasten is a Dutch company managed by Edwin van Opstal, a graduate engineer. Edwin has decades of experience developing consumer products for companies such as Bosch, Coca-Cola, and Douwe Egberts. In addition, Edwin is also a model maker who now wants to apply his professional knowledge and experience to developing better products for model railway enthusiasts.
Corporate philosophy
Glaskasten’s starting point is the offering of high-quality products and the use of sustainable materials. Local suppliers are used as much as possible, with the aim of sourcing all materials and components from the EU.
