The GKI glass case model railway display case for 1:32 models (gauge 1) is now available in our webshop.

Following the successful launch of our Gauge 0 glass display case, we are now putting our Gauge 1 display case, the GKI, into production. This next step in scale features the same design and high level of finish as our existing GK, GKN, and GKO glass display cases in H0, N, Z, and 0 scales, with a base module measuring 1.2 m wide and 73 cm high. The GKI display case offers space for three levels of 1:32 scale model trains of all gauges.

The unique glass case modular system with the same basic module dimensions of 1.2 m by 73 cm is also used in the GKI Gauge 1 display case. Large display walls can be created by extending the width of the basic module in 60 cm increments. Naturally, the height can also be increased by mounting a second row of modules on top, resulting in a display case with 6 levels.

GKI display cases can be optionally equipped with integrated, high-quality LED lighting to illuminate each train individually. New to GKI display cases is the TrackLight, which illuminates the underside of the models. This allows you to admire the details around the wheels and drive rods of your prized models, as shown in the photo below, where the upper level is equipped with TrackLight and the lower level is not. Other options include powered track, dimmers, and door locks.

The photo shows a prototype of the 1.2m base module. Production will begin soon, but you can already place pre-orders through our webshop to secure your place in the delivery queue.
