Even though material, labour and component cost are still increasing, we have been able to avoid a price increase for our display cases. On the other hand packaging and transportation cost has increased so dramatically recently that we are forced to pass on these costs, especially because it does not look like this is a temporary situation.
So far our shipping fees did not reflect the actual costs, as we absorbed most of the increases ourselves. Unfortunately we now have to pass on these costs, which consist of packaging cost (for timber crates) and transportation cost. The good news is that this results in a big saving for customers who choose to pick up their display cases at our facilities. That not only saves shipping cost, but also packaging, as we will then use cardboard boxes instead of a timber crate.
