About Glaskasten

Glaskasten is a Dutch company, managed by Edwin van Opstal. Edwin has been working in (consumer) product development for over 2 decades, for companies such as Bosch, Coca Cola en Douwe Egberts (Sara Lee). Edwin is also a railway modeller who wants to put his professional knowledge and experience to good use in developing better products for railway modelling enthousiasts.

Company philosophy

The objective of Glaskasten is to offer high-quality products made with durable materials. We use local suppliers as much as possible, with the goal to source all material and components from within the EU.
