Track and gauge

The shelf spacing is suitable for 1:32 scale models and provides sufficient height to extend the pantographs. Tracks are optional and can be specified in standard gauge 1 (45 mm), narrow gauge 1m (32 mm), or 1e (22.5 mm), which can be selected above. For the illuminated display case, Glaskasten offers optional live rails so that locomotive or car functions such as sound or light can be used. In this case, you can connect your own DCC control center to the display case.

Integrated lighting option

The shape of the profile of the light levels ensures optimal illumination of your models. In the display case with integrated lighting, each train is individually illuminated via a diffuser so that your models are even more visible. Optionally, the light can also be dimmed with an Integrierter Dimmer, allowing you to adjust the light level to your liking. The light switch and power cord are located at the bottom right. The power cord is white, so it fits into most interiors.

Glass cabinet modular system

The Glass Case Modular System is the only modular model railway display case system that can be expanded indefinitely in width and height. For large collections and long trains, several modules can be hung side by side and on top of each other to create a display wall. A range of standard combinations are available in our webshop, but there are so many possibilities that we cannot show everything here.

• Cabinet with high-quality soft-close hinges and integrated adjustable hanging system.
• Separately packaged doors and side panels made of tempered glass.
• Easy-to-understand user manual with assembly instructions (you can also download these below).
• Wall mounts including screws and dowels.
• Available options:
  • Integrated LED lighting for each individual train
  • Integrated power supply with switch, white power cord, and optional dimmer
  • TrackLight: integrated LED lighting under each rail
  • current-carrying tracks on each level

Packaging and shipping

Glass display cases are shipped in sturdy cardboard boxes or wooden crates on pallets, depending on their destination. This, combined with the fact that we only use carriers who specialize in transporting valuable products, results in relatively high packaging and shipping costs, which are unfortunately necessary to minimize the risk of damage during transport.
