Glaskasten GK1,5 Basic
Model train display case for H0 models with 8 shelves of 1.8 m
Product description
The GK1,5 basic is the entry version and can accommodate more than 14 metres of trains over 8 shelves. Although it has optional lighting, it has an external power adapter with no switch and no optional dimmer or lock. So if you are looking any of these features or if you need a larger size display case, please look into the Glaskasten Expert range of display cases. Even though the GK1,5 basic is composed of modules of the modular Glaskasten system, the basic range with lighting is limited to 1 or 1,5 modules (1.2 or 1.8 m wide).
Scale
Shelf spacing is suited for H0 models, with integrated “catenary” at the correct height to hold the pantograph in the right orientation. This display case is also suitable for H0e gauge, because you can slot N-gauge track into a special groove. TT and H0m models can be placed in the display case without additional track.Integrated lighting option
The shelf profile shape is optimised for best lighting your model trains. In the display cabinet with optional integrated lighting, each train is individually illuminated through a diffusor, making your models stand out even better. The GK-basic range is fitted with an external power adapter which plugs into the bottom right hand side of the display case.Design

For large collections and long trains, multiple modules can be used side-by-side or above each other, forming one continuous display wall. Some standard combinations are available in our web shop, but there are so many sizes and combinations of options available that not everything is listed here.

Packaging and shipment
Depending on the destination, Glaskasten display cases are either shipped in a sturdy box, or in a wooden crate on a pallet. This, and the fact that we only use carriers that specialise in transporting valuable products, results in relatively high packaging and shipping cost, but unfortunately that is necessary to minimise the chance of damage.Additional information
